This newly established variation of the traditional associate degree is intended for students who intend to complete a bachelor's degree at a CSU campus. Students who complete either the AA-T or AS-T are guaranteed admission to the CSU system, although not necessarily to a specific campus or major.

This transfer degree may not be the top option for students who intend to transfer to a specific CSU campus or to a university that is not a member of the CSU system. All students should consult with their counselor in order to help plan for transferring credits.
